- All patients are required to complete a Wellness Survey form 24-48 hours prior to each appointment, so we can ensure nobody has any symptoms before coming in. Patients who answer “yes” to any of the questions, will be rescheduled.
- Our tooth-brushing area is closed to prevent cross contamination. Please brush your teeth thoroughly at home before coming to your appointment. As an extra precaution, we will provide patients with a 1.5% hydrogen peroxide rinse (Colgate Peroxyl) before each appointment. Coronavirus is vulnerable to oxidation, so this will reduce the salivary load of oral microbes during your orthodontic visit.
- Our waiting room will be limited, no more than 3 people at a time. We are asking that patients wait in their car until their treatment chair is ready.
- Only the patient is permitted in the office at this time. We will make exceptions for younger patients, consultations, or those who need special assistance. In that case, one adult may accompany the patient – this person will also be asked to complete the wellness survey, wear a mask, have their temperature taken and will not be allowed in the operatories, as there is limited space. Please no siblings or other guests at this time.
- All people entering our office will have their temperatures taken and will be provided with hand sanitizer upon entry. Everyone must wear a mask at all times, except while the doctor or staff are looking at or working on your teeth. The staff and doctor will also undergo daily temperature checks and screening questions to monitor our own health as well.
- We have three medical grade air purification units throughout the office to continuously filter the air
- Aerosol generating procedures will be performed in the private room with the use of high volume evacuation and an external dental suction system (OCTOdent Extraoral Aerosol Suction). Special personal protective equipment and measures are required for the doctor and staff.
- In addition to our already rigorous sterilization and disinfection program that has always exceeded CDC and OSHA guidelines, our office will be sprayed down with Hypochlorous Acid two times a day for extra disinfection purposes.
- We have diligently researched every possible option that the CDC, ADA and other advisory boards are recommending, and have implemented everything we can to make sure our patients and staff remain safe.

Dr. Ray is the absolute best! I went in with concerns about one tooth but she perfected my entire mouth. People have asked if I have veneers because of her amazing work.
